Guinea pigs are very sociable animals and must be
given a lot of attention. In their natural habitat guinea pigs live in family groups. In
order to have a happy guinea pig it is best to get two guinea pigs to provide
companionship to each other while their human friends are away.
Here is the 3rd batch of guinea pigs,
another 4 produced by Olivier this time, the daughter of Gertrude.
Shown here in hutch number 3 eating grass and hay at 1 day old.27/8/02
They really like fresh grass and lettuce as you can see below.
My Dad say's a guinea pig makes a wonderful pet and great sandwich!
Mmmmm delicious.....
Don't worry, he didn't really eat it,
Anyway he doesn't like them raw.....
